Our camps are run in 6 day blocks from Sunday to Saturday every week of every school holidays except summer when our camps finish on a Friday evening with a twilight gymkhana. We run the camps in our home which creates a lovely family atmosphere that the children seem to enjoy (this also helps with the occasional bout of homesickness).

We have experience with children of all ages (5-16 years) and horse riding abilities - our focus is on the children having fun and also learning to care for their horse as well as learning to care for others in a camp environment.We offer an outdoor arena,jumping and beautiful trail riding as well as horse games in our gymkhana paddock.We finish each week with a FUN gymkhana and family BBQ on the Friday evening.

Our price for our 6 days and nights is $400.00 per child. Payment is either strictly cash or cheque on arrival or payment by cheque 7 days prior to camp.

                                 This is just a quick note to tell you we -at Possums Nook are branching out (pardon the pun). Why not ask about our special weekend activities available here.

For instance how about a weekend with family friends that includes horse riding, b.b.q’s, bush walks, camp fires (in winter), swimming with or without horses (in summer) plus much more.

Use our peaceful country setting for that special retreat away from the rat race for ladies or mens weekends, childrens birthday parties, adults birthday parties, hens weekends, special interest groups (craft,art,writing etc), clubs or work teams.With beds for up to 40 - we can cater for as large or small group as you want.
